The kids are turning into little fish! After our relaxing pajama day we went to the club for a birthday party. Delaney surprised us all by voluntarily going all the way under water several times and NOT drinking the pool! Jake was in and out jumping in and diving under ... I was so proud of him! The swim test is still posing a problem for him .. he is nervous about the treading water part. Sadly he must pass the test to use the water slide and diving board so I really hope he can conquer this fear before the summer is over.
The birthday party was so fun. The mom elected to serve popscicles instead of cake which worked out wonderfully since we were pool side! The kids dripped and made a sticky mess then we just threw them back in the pool to clean up. Genius!
