Jake dropped a chair yesterday morning and it scraped the side of his foot. It sounds bad, I know, but the scrap is really about 1 cm long. TINY folks. It didn't even bleed. Since the "incident" Jake has talked about the boo boo constantly, has been unable to walk or wear shoes and has overall been miserable. An example of one of our many conversations about his foot:
Jake: Hey Mommy ... I still have the boo boo on my foot.
Me: I know Jake. It takes time to heal.
Jake: Hey Mommy ... I have had this boo boo for like ... 18 years.
Me: Yes, it has felt like 18 years hasn't it.
Jake: Hey Mommy .... I really want to take the boo boo off my foot.
Me: -eye roll-
