Happy Halloween!

Jake loved his first real Halloween! By the end of the night he was a champion trick-or-treater. He had a slow start though. At his first house he rang the doorbell and when the guy opened the door Jake just walked right into their house! He saw the bowl of candy and just stuck his hand in and took candy out. Luckily the first house belonged to some old family friends so they got a kick out of Jake's bravado. The next few houses he did things a little backwards by shouting "Thank you!" before the Trick-or-Treat part, but at least he was polite. He was simply amazed that people kept giving him candy and he would run back to us shouting CANDY! CANDY! Oddly, he was really fine with not eating any of it while we were out, but he was pretty excited to pick a few pieces when we got home. Delaney looked cute as a bug, but it was past her bedtime so she wasn't really into the festivities. Next year will be her year.
