We had a really nice day today! Nothing exciting, but it was a nice family day. We headed out to Hermann Park around 9:30am. We had to park pretty far away since it was so crowed for the holiday. We made our way around to the train station and Joshua took Jake for a train ride while I hung out with Delaney. After the train ride we walked through the park to the Metro stop and hopped on there and rode it back to our car. Jake was excited that he got to ride 2 trains today!! We had a quick lunch and then headed home for nap time.
Both kids surprised us by taking great naps! Delaney slept for 1.5 hours (which is UNHEARD of for her!) and Jake for 3 hours! I think we wore him out with all the walking at the park!
We went out for Gelato after naps and then walked around the shopping center a bit before heading home for Friday Night Pizza night and bedtime. Joshua and I drank some wine, read and watched the fireworks on TV after the kids went to bed. It was a nice mellow day.
